case modifying

Postby witchy on Sun Sep 16, 2007 8:51 am

So i wanted to try modifying a computer case to see how hard it would be and to see if it would turn out ok. this is my first attempt at it and its kind of simple but i guess it turned out ok. I didnt do anything to the inside and there is no computer in it atm. not sure what ill do with it now really. but here is the case befor i started.

All i did was take it a part and paint a few of the parts here is that.

For the buttons i just went to AC more and got rhine stones and filed them till they fit.

and then just glued some on the side after drawing it on in pencil to try to make it as even as possible.

It was pretty easy and lots of fun. I have a black case i bought also to expirament on. so as soon as something inspires me for a theam ill start that one.

I think I would "tastefully" apply rhinestones on the larger areas (corners, tops of arches). Just my 2cworth

Only a woman would think that a shade of pink is cute (OK, and a few "nice" guys  )! Overall it turned out well. I sure hope those 2-80mm fans are the quiet kind! I've grown tired of the "airport" in my room!

lol i know the feeling my husband is always "will you please turn that thing off its like a freakin lawn mower". i guess the bed room isnt the best place for a puter. ah well. its got 2 120mm fans 1 front fan , 2 bay fans, 2 fans on grafixs cards, cpu fan, and the ones in the psu. lol its a bit loud to say the least. but i can still hear the 2 10k raptors over that mess so its all good
